anguish <GEN42 -21> And they said one to another, We [are] verily

guilty concerning our brother, in that we saw the {anguish} of

his

soul, when he besought us, and we would not hear; therefore is

this

distress come upon us.

for

anguish <DEU2 -25> This day will I begin to put the dread of thee

in

{anguish} because of thee.

[yet] thy commandments [are] my delights.

driven to darkness.

the

land of trouble and {anguish}, from whence [come] the young and

old

lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they will carry their

riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their trea

sures upon the bunches of camels, to a people [that] shall not

profit [them].

anguish <JER4 -31> For I have heard a voice as of a woman in

travail, [and] the {anguish} as of her that bringeth forth her

herself,

[that] spreadeth her hands, [saying], Woe [is] me now! fo

them, and his hands waxed feeble: {anguish} took hold of him,

[and]

pangs as of a woman in travail.

anguish <JOH16 -21> A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow,

because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the

child, she remembereth no more the {anguish}, for joy that a man

is

born into the world.

anguish <ROM2 -9> Tribulation and {anguish}, upon every soul of

man

that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

anguish <2CO2 -4> For out of much affliction and {anguish} of

heart

I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved,

but

that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto

you.
