scarlet <GEN38 -28> And it came to pass, when she travailed, that

[the one] put out [his] hand: and the midwife took and bound upon

his hand a {scarlet} thread, saying, This came out first.

scarlet <GEN38 -30> And afterward came out his brother, that had

{scarlet} thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah.

the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird,

and

with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the {scarlet}:

scarlet <NUM4 -8> And they shall spread upon them a cloth of

{scarlet}, and cover the same with a covering of badgers' skins,

and

shall put in the staves thereof.

be clothed with {scarlet}, and [have] a chain of gold a

bout thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom.
