contemned In whose eyes a vile person is {contemned}; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. [He that] sweareth to [his own] hurt, and changeth not. contemned Because they rebelled against the words of God, and {contemned} the counsel of the most High: contemned Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if [a] man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be {contemned}. contemned But now the LORD hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of an hireling, and the glory of Moab shall be {contemned}, with all that great multitude; and the remnant [shall be] very small [and] feeble. ~~~~~~
