mamre Then Abram removed [his] tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of {Mamre}, which [is] in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the LORD. mamre And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of {Mamre} the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these [were] confederate with Abram. mamre Save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and {Mamre}; let them take their portion. mamre And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of {Mamre}: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; mamre And the field of Ephron, which [was] in Machpelah, which [was] before {Mamre}, the field, and the cave which [was] therein, and all the trees that [were] in the field, that [were] in all the borders round about, were made sure mamre And after this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Machpelah before {Mamre}: the same [is] Hebron in the land of Canaan. mamre And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which [is] before {Mamre}; mamre And Jacob came unto Isaac his father unto {Mamre}, unto the city of Arbah, which [is] Hebron, where Abraham and Isaac sojourned. mamre In the cave that [is] in the field of Machpelah, which [is] before {Mamre}, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field of Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a buryingplace. mamre For his sons carried him into the land of Canaan, and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah, which Abraham bought with the field for a possession of a buryingplace of Ephron the Hittite, before {Mamre}. ~~~~~~
