mantle And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not. And, behold, [there came] a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah? mantle <1KI19 -19> So he departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who [was] plowing [with] twelve yoke [of oxen] before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah passed by him, and cast his {mantle} upon him. mantle <2KI2 -8> And Elijah took his {mantle}, and wrapped [it] together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground. mantle <2KI2 -13> He took up also the {mantle} of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan; mantle <2KI2 -14> And he took the {mantle} of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where [is] the LORD God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over. mantle And when I heard this thing, I rent my garment and my {mantle}, and plucked off the hair of my head and of my beard, and sat down astonied. mantle And at the evening sacrifice I arose up from my heaviness; and having rent my garment and my {mantle}, I fell upon my knees, and spread out my hands unto the LORD my God, mantle Then Job arose, and rent his {mantle}, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, mantle And when they lifted up their eyes afar off, and knew him not, they lifted up their voice, and wept; and they rent every one his {mantle}, and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven. mantle Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a {mantle}. ~~~~~~
