say Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall {say}, This [is] his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive. say {Say}, I pray thee, thou [art] my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee. say That I will not [take] from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that [is] thine, lest thou shouldest {say}, I have made Abram rich: say And it came to pass, when God caused me to wander from my father's house, that I said unto her, This [is] thy kindness which thou shalt show unto me; at every place whither we shall come, {say} of me, He [is] my brother. say And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall {say}, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: [let the same be] she [that] thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast showed kindness unto my master. say And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall {say}, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: [let the same be] she [that] thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast showed kindness unto my master. say Behold, I stand by the well of water; and it shall come to pass, that when the virgin cometh forth to draw [water], and I {say} to her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water of thy pitcher to drink; say And she {say} to me, Both drink thou, and I will also draw for thy camels: [let] the same [be] the woman whom the LORD hath appointed out for my master's son. say And the men of the place asked [him] of his wife; and he said, She [is] my sister: for he feared to {say}, [She is] my wife; lest, [said he], the men of the place should kill me for Rebekah; because she [was] fair to look upon. say Then thou shalt {say}, [They be] thy servant Jacob's; it [is] a present sent unto my lord Esau: and, behold, also he [is] behind us. say And {say} ye moreover, Behold, thy servant Jacob [is] behind us. For he said, I will appease him with the present that goeth before me, and afterward I will see his face; peradventure he will accept of me. say And Shechem said unto her father and unto her brethren, Let me find grace in your eyes, and what ye shall {say} unto me I will give. say Ask me never so much dowry and gift, and I will give according as ye shall {say} unto me: but give me the damsel to wife. say And the man said, They are departed hence; for I heard them {say}, Let us go to Dothan. And Joseph went after his brethren, and found them in Dothan. say Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will {say}, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams. say And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and [there is] none that can interpret it: and I have heard {say} of thee, [that] thou canst understand a dream to interpret it. say And they said, The man asked us straitly of our state, and of our kindred, saying, [Is] your father yet alive? have ye [another] brother? and we told him according to the tenor of these words: could we certainly know that he would {say}, Br ing your brother down? say And] when they were gone out of the city, [and] not [yet] far off, Joseph said unto his steward, Up, follow after the men; and when thou dost overtake them, {say} unto them, Wherefore have ye rewarded evil for good? say And Judah said, What shall we {say} unto my lord? what shall we speak? or how shall we clear ourselves? God hath found out the iniquity of thy servants: behold, we [are] my lord's servants, both we, and [he] also with whom the cup is found . say Haste ye, and go up to my father, and {say} unto him, Thus saith thy son Joseph, God hath made me lord of all Egypt: come down unto me, tarry not: say And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, {Say} unto thy brethren, This do ye; lade your beasts, and go, get you unto the land of Canaan; say And Joseph said unto his brethren, and unto his father's house, I will go up, and show Pharaoh, and {say} unto him, My brethren, and my father's house, which [were] in the land of Canaan, are come unto me; say And it shall come to pass, when Pharaoh shall call you, and shall {say}, What [is] your occupation? say That ye shall {say}, Thy servants' trade hath been about cattle from our youth even until now, both we, [and] also our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd [is] an abomination unto the Egyptians. say So shall ye {say} unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin; for they did unto thee evil: and now, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when t hey spake unto him. say And Moses said unto God, Behold, [when] I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What [is] his name? what shall I {say} unto them? say And Moses said unto God, Behold, [when] I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall {say} to me, What [is] his name? what shall I say unto them? say And Moses said unto God, Behold, [when] I come unto the children of Israel, and shall {say} unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What [is] his name? what shall I say unto them? say And God said unto Moses, I And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou {say} unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this [is] my name for ever, and this [is] my memorial unto all generations. say Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and {say} unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and [seen] that which is done to you in Egypt: say And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall {say} unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days' jour ney into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God. say And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will {say}, The LORD hath not appeared unto thee. say Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt {say}. say And thou shalt {say} unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel [is] my son, [even] my firstborn: say And I {say} unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, [even] thy firstborn. say There is no straw given unto thy servants, and they {say} to us, Make brick: and, behold, thy servants [are] beaten; but the fault [is] in thine own people. say But he said, Ye [are] idle, [ye are] idle: therefore ye {say}, Let us go [and] do sacrifice to the LORD. say Wherefore {say} unto the children of Israel, I [am] the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments : say That the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, I [am] the LORD: speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I {say} unto thee. say When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Show a miracle for you: then thou shalt {say} unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast [it] before Pharaoh, [and] it shall become a serpent. say And thou shalt {say} unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear. say And the LORD spake unto Moses, {Say} unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and [that] there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in [vessels of] wood, and in [vessels of] stone. say And the LORD spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and {say} unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me. say And the LORD spake unto Moses, {Say} unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt. say And the LORD said unto Moses, {Say} unto Aaron, Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the land, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt. say And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he cometh forth to the water; and {say} unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me. say And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and {say} unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me. say And it shall come to pass, when your children shall {say} unto you, What mean ye by this service? say That ye shall {say}, It [is] the sacrifice of the LORD'S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped. say And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What [is] this? that thou shalt {say} unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage: say For Pharaoh will {say} of the children of Israel, They [are] entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in. say And Moses spake unto Aaron, {Say} unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, Come near before the LORD: for he hath heard your murmurings. say And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou {say} to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel; say And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt {say} unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven. say And if the servant shall plainly {say}, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free: say Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and {say}, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people. say For the LORD had said unto Moses, {Say} unto the children of Israel, Ye [are] a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee. say Speak unto the children of Israel, and {say} unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, [even] of the herd, and of the flock. say Speak unto the children of Israel, and {say} unto them, When any man hath a running issue out of his flesh, [because of] his issue he [is] unclean. say Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and {say} unto them; This [is] the thing which the LORD hath commanded, saying, say And thou shalt {say} unto them, Whatsoever man [there be] of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt offering or sacrifice, say Speak unto the children of Israel, and {say} unto them, I am the LORD your God. say Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and {say} unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God [am] holy. say Again, thou shalt {say} to the children of Israel, Whosoever [he be] of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth [any] of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land s hall stone him with stones. say And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron, and {say} unto them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people: say {Say} unto them, Whosoever [he be] of all your seed among your generations, that goeth unto the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence: I [am] the LORD. say Speak unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and {say} unto them, Whatsoever [he be] of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, that will offer his oblation for all his vows, and for all his freewill offerings, which they will offer unto the LORD for a burnt offering; say Speak unto the children of Israel, and {say} unto them, [Concerning] the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim [to be] holy convocations, [even] these [are] my feasts. say Speak unto the children of Israel, and {say} unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest: say Speak unto the children of Israel, and {say} unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD. say And if ye shall {say}, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase: say Speak unto the children of Israel, and {say} unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons [shall be] for the LORD by thy estimation. say Speak unto the children of Israel, and {say} unto them, If any man's wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him, say And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and {say} unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness [with another] instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse: say Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall {say} unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell; say And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make [thy] belly to swell, and [thy] thigh to rot: And the woman shall {say}, Amen, amen. say Speak unto the children of Israel, and {say} unto them, When either man or woman shall separate [themselves] to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate [themselves] unto the LORD: say Speak unto Aaron, and {say} unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick. say Have I conceived all this people? have I begotten them, that thou shouldest {say} unto me, Carry them in thy bosom, as a nursing father beareth the sucking child, unto the land which thou swarest unto their fathers? say And {say} thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat flesh: for ye have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for [it was] well with us in Egypt: therefore the LORD will gi ve you flesh, and ye shall eat. say {Say} unto them, [As truly as] I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you: say Speak unto the children of Israel, and {say} unto them, When ye be come into the land of your habitations, which I give unto you, say Speak unto the children of Israel, and {say} unto them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you, say Thus speak unto the Levites, and {say} unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD, [even] a tenth [part] o f the tithe. say Therefore thou shalt {say} unto them, When ye have heaved the best thereof from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levites as the increase of the threshingfloor, and as the increase of the winepress. say Wherefore they that speak in proverbs {say}, Come into Heshbon, let the city of Sihon be built and prepared: say Now therefore, I pray you, tarry ye also here this night, that I may know what the LORD will {say} unto me more. say And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If the men come to call thee, rise up, [and] go with them; but yet the word which I shall {say} unto thee, that shalt thou do. say And Balaam said unto Balak, Lo, I am come unto thee: have I now any power at all to {say} any thing? the word that God putteth in my mouth, that shall I speak. say And the LORD met Balaam, and put a word in his mouth, and said, Go again unto Balak, and {say} thus. say Wherefore {say}, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace: say Command the children of Israel, and {say} unto them, My offering, [and] my bread for my sacrifices made by fire, [for] a sweet savour unto me, shall ye observe to offer unto me in their due season. say And thou shalt {say} unto them, This [is] the offering made by fire which ye shall offer unto the LORD; two lambs of the first year without spot day by day, [for] a continual burnt offering. say Speak unto the children of Israel, and {say} unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan; say Command the children of Israel, and {say} unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this [is] the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, [even] the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:) say Speak unto the children of Israel, and {say} unto them, When ye be come over Jordan into the land of Canaan; say And the LORD said unto me, {Say} unto them, Go not up, neither fight; for I [am] not among you; lest ye be smitten before your enemies. say Keep therefore and do [them]; for this [is] your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and {say}, Surely this great nation [is] a wise and understanding people. say Go thou near, and hear all that the LORD our God shall {say}: and speak thou unto us all that the LORD our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear [it], and do [it]. say Go {say} to them, Get you into your tents again. say Then thou shalt {say} unto thy son, We were Pharaoh's bondmen in Egypt; and the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand: say If thou shalt {say} in thine heart, These nations [are] more than I; how can I dispossess them? say And thou {say} in thine heart, My power and the might of [mine] hand hath gotten me this wealth. say A people great and tall, the children of the Anakims, whom thou knowest, and [of whom] thou hast heard [{say}], Who can stand before the children of Anak! say Lest the land whence thou broughtest us out {say}, Because the LORD was not able to bring them into the land which he promised them, and because he hated them, he hath brought them out to slay them in the wilderness. say When the LORD thy God shall enlarge thy border, as he hath promised thee, and thou shalt {say}, I will eat flesh, because thy soul longeth to eat flesh; thou mayest eat flesh, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after. say If thou shalt hear [{say}] in one of thy cities, which the LORD thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying, say And it shall be, if he {say} unto thee, I will not go away from thee; because he loveth thee and thine house, because he is well with thee; say When thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt {say}, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that [are] about me; say And if thou {say} in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? say And shall {say} unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them; say And the officers shall speak further unto the people, and they shall {say}, What man [is there that is] fearful and fainthearted? let him go and return unto his house, lest his brethren's heart faint as well as his heart. say And they shall answer and {say}, Our hands have not shed this blood, neither have our eyes seen [it]. say And they shall {say} unto the elders of his city, This our son [is] stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; [he is] a glutton, and a drunkard. say And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and {say}, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid: say And the damsel's father shall {say} unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her; say And if the man like not to take his brother's wife, then let his brother's wife go up to the gate unto the elders, and {say}, My husband's brother refuseth to raise up unto his brother a name in Israel, he will not perform the duty of my hu sband's brother. say Then the elders of his city shall call him, and speak unto him: and [if] he stand [to it], and {say}, I like not to take her; say Then shall his brother's wife come unto him in the presence of the elders, and loose his shoe from off his foot, and spit in his face, and shall answer and {say}, So shall it be done unto that man that will not build up his brother's house. say And thou shalt go unto the priest that shall be in those days, and {say} unto him, I profess this day unto the LORD thy God, that I am come unto the country which the LORD sware unto our fathers for to give us. say And thou shalt speak and {say} before the LORD thy God, A Syrian ready to perish [was] my father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous: say Then thou shalt {say} before the LORD thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of [mine] house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandm ents which thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed thy commandments, neither have I forgotten [them]: say And the Levites shall speak, and {say} unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice, say Cursed [be] the man that maketh [any] graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth [it] in [a] secret [place]. And all the people shall answer and {say}, Amen. say Cursed [be] he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall {say}, Amen. say Cursed [be] he that removeth his neighbour's landmark. And all the people shall {say}, Amen. say Cursed [be] he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall {say}, Amen. say Cursed [be] he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall {say}, Amen. say Cursed [be] he that lieth with his father's wife; because he uncovereth his father's skirt. And all the people shall {say}, Amen. say Cursed [be] he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall {say}, Amen. say Cursed [be] he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall {say}, Amen. say Cursed [be] he that lieth with his mother in law. And all the people shall {say}, Amen. say Cursed [be] he that smiteth his neighbour secretly. And all the people shall {say}, Amen. say Cursed [be] he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall {say}, Amen. say Cursed [be] he that confirmeth not [all] the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall {say}, Amen. say In the morning thou shalt {say}, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see. say In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt {say}, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see. say So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall {say}, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD hath laid upon it; say Even all nations shall {say}, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this land? what [meaneth] the heat of this great anger? say Then men shall {say}, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt: say It [is] not in heaven, that thou shouldest {say}, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? say Neither [is] it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest {say}, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? say Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will {say} in that day, Are not th ese evils come upon us, because our God [is] not among us? say Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, [and] lest they should {say}, Our hand [is] high, and the LORD hath not done all this. say And he shall {say}, Where [are] their gods, [their] rock in whom they trusted, say For I lift up my hand to heaven, and {say}, I live for ever. say The eternal God [is thy] refuge, and underneath [are] the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall {say}, Destroy [them]. say O Lord, what shall I {say}, when Israel turneth their backs before their enemies! say Up, sanctify the people, and {say}, Sanctify yourselves against tomorrow: for thus saith the LORD God of Israel, [There is] an accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing from among you. say For they will come out after us) till we have drawn them from the city; for they will {say}, They flee before us, as at the first: therefore we will flee before them. say Wherefore our elders and all the inhabitants of our country spake to us, saying, Take victuals with you for the journey, and go to meet them, and {say} unto them, We [are] your servants: therefore now make ye a league with us. say And the children of Israel heard {say}, Behold, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh have built an altar over against the land of Canaan, in the borders of Jordan, at the passage of the children of Israel. say But [that] it [may be] a witness between us, and you, and our generations after us, that we might do the service of the LORD before him with our burnt offerings, and with our sacrifices, and with our peace offerings; that your children may not {say} to our children in time to come, Ye have no part in the LORD. say Therefore said we, that it shall be, when they should [so] {say} to us or to our generations in time to come, that we may say [again], Behold the pattern of the altar of the LORD, which our fathers made, not for burnt offerings, nor for sa crifices; but it [is] a witness between us and you. say Therefore said we, that it shall be, when they should [so] say to us or to our generations in time to come, that we may {say} [again], Behold the pattern of the altar of the LORD, which our fathers made, not for burnt offerings, nor for sa crifices; but it [is] a witness between us and you. say Again he said unto her, Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, when any man doth come and inquire of thee, and {say}, Is there any man here? that thou shalt say, No. say Again he said unto her, Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, when any man doth come and inquire of thee, and say, Is there any man here? that thou shalt {say}, No. say And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people [are] yet [too] many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there: and it shall be, [that] of whom I {say} unto thee, This shall go with thee, the same shall go with thee; and of whomsoever I say unto thee, This shall not go with thee, the same shall not go. say And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people [are] yet [too] many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there: and it shall be, [that] of whom I say unto thee, This shall go with thee, the same shall go with thee; and of whomsoever I {say} unto thee, This shall not go with thee, the same shall not go. say And thou shalt hear what they {say}; and afterward shall thine hands be strengthened to go down unto the host. Then went he down with Phurah his servant unto the outside of the armed men that [were] in the host. say When I blow with a trumpet, I and all that [are] with me, then blow ye the trumpets also on every side of all the camp, and {say}, [The sword] of the LORD, and of Gideon. say Then he called hastily unto the young man his armourbearer, and said unto him, Draw thy sword, and slay me, that men {say} not of me, A woman slew him. And his young man thrust him through, and he died. say Then said they unto him, {Say} now Shibboleth: and he said Sibboleth: for he could not frame to pronounce [it] right. Then they took him, and slew him at the passages of Jordan: and there fell at that time of the Ephraimites forty and two t housand. say And she said unto him, How canst thou {say}, I love thee, when thine heart [is] not with me? thou hast mocked me these three times, and hast not told me wherein thy great strength [lieth]. say And they came unto their brethren to Zorah and Eshtaol: and their brethren said unto them, What [{say}] ye? say And he said, Ye have taken away my gods which I made, and the priest, and ye are gone away: and what have I more? and what [is] this [that] ye {say} unto me, What aileth thee? say And it shall be, when their fathers or their brethren come unto us to complain, that we will {say} unto them, Be favourable unto them for our sakes: because we reserved not to each man his wife in the war: for ye did not give unto them at this time, [that] ye should be guilty. say Turn again, my daughters, go [your way]; for I am too old to have an husband. If I should {say}, I have hope, [if] I should have an husband also to night, and should also bear sons; say <1SA2 -36> And it shall come to pass, [that] every one that is left in thine house shall come [and] crouch to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall {say}, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the priests' offices, that I may eat a pie ce of bread. say <1SA3 -9> Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt {say}, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place. say <1SA8 -7> And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they {say} unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. say <1SA10 -2> When thou art departed from me to day, then thou shalt find two men by Rachel's sepulchre in the border of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will {say} unto thee, The asses which thou wentest to seek are found: and, lo, thy father hath left the care of the asses, and sorroweth for you, saying, What shall I do for my son? say <1SA11 -9> And they said unto the messengers that came, Thus shall ye {say} unto the men of Jabeshgilead, To morrow, by [that time] the sun be hot, ye shall have help. And the messengers came and showed [it] to the men of Jabesh; and they were glad. say <1SA13 -4> And all Israel heard {say} [that] Saul had smitten a garrison of the Philistines, and [that] Israel also was had in abomination with the Philistines. And the people were called together after Saul to Gilgal. say <1SA14 -9> If they {say} thus unto us, Tarry until we come to you; then we will stand still in our place, and will not go up unto them. say <1SA14 -10> But if they {say} thus, Come up unto us; then we will go up: for the LORD hath delivered them into our hand: and this [shall be] a sign unto us. say <1SA14 -34> And Saul said, Disperse yourselves among the people, and {say} unto them, Bring me hither every man his ox, and every man his sheep, and slay [them] here, and eat; and sin not against the LORD in eating with the blood. And all the people b rought every man his ox with him that night, and slew [them] there. say <1SA15 -16> Then Samuel said unto Saul, Stay, and I will tell thee what the LORD hath said to me this night. And he said unto him, {Say} on. say <1SA16 -2> And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear [it], he will kill me. And the LORD said, Take an heifer with thee, and {say}, I am come to sacrifice to the LORD. say <1SA18 -22> And Saul commanded his servants, [saying], Commune with David secretly, and {say}, Behold, the king hath delight in thee, and all his servants love thee: now therefore be the king's son in law. say <1SA18 -25> And Saul said, Thus shall ye {say} to David, The king desireth not any dowry, but an hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to be avenged of the king's enemies. But Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines. say <1SA19 -24> And he stripped off his clothes also, and prophesied before Samuel in like manner, and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Wherefore they {say}, [Is] Saul also among the prophets? say <1SA20 -6> If thy father at all miss me, then {say}, David earnestly asked [leave] of me that he might run to Bethlehem his city: for [there is] a yearly sacrifice there for all the family. say <1SA20 -7> If he {say} thus, [It is] well; thy servant shall have peace: but if he be very wroth, [then] be sure that evil is determined by him. say <1SA20 -21> And, behold, I will send a lad, [saying], Go, find out the arrows. If I expressly {say} unto the lad, Behold, the arrows [are] on this side of thee, take them; then come thou: for [there is] peace to thee, and no hurt; [as] the LORD liveth . say <1SA20 -22> But if I {say} thus unto the young man, Behold, the arrows [are] beyond thee; go thy way: for the LORD hath sent thee away. say <1SA25 -6> And thus shall ye {say} to him that liveth [in prosperity], Peace [be] both to thee, and peace [be] to thine house, and peace [be] unto all that thou hast. say <2SA7 -8> Now therefore so shalt thou {say} unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, from following the sheep, to be ruler over my people, over Israel: say <2SA7 -20> And what can David {say} more unto thee? for thou, Lord GOD, knowest thy servant. say <2SA11 -20> And if so be that the king's wrath arise, and he {say} unto thee, Wherefore approached ye so nigh unto the city when ye did fight? knew ye not that they would shoot from the wall? say <2SA11 -21> Who smote Abimelech the son of Jerubbesheth? did not a woman cast a piece of a millstone upon him from the wall, that he died in Thebez? why went ye nigh the wall? then {say} thou, Thy servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also. say <2SA11 -25> Then David said unto the messenger, Thus shalt thou {say} unto Joab, Let not this thing displease thee, for the sword devoureth one as well as another: make thy battle more strong against the city, and overthrow it: and encourage thou him. say <2SA13 -5> And Jonadab said unto him, Lay thee down on thy bed, and make thyself sick: and when thy father cometh to see thee, {say} unto him, I pray thee, let my sister Tamar come, and give me meat, and dress the meat in my sight, that I may see [it] , and eat [it] at her hand. say <2SA13 -28> Now Absalom had commanded his servants, saying, Mark ye now when Amnon's heart is merry with wine, and when I {say} unto you, Smite Amnon; then kill him, fear not: have not I commanded you? be courageous, and be valiant. say <2SA14 -12> Then the woman said, Let thine handmaid, I pray thee, speak [one] word unto my lord the king. And he said, {Say} on. say <2SA14 -32> And Absalom answered Joab, Behold, I sent unto thee, saying, Come hither, that I may send thee to the king, to {say}, Wherefore am I come from Geshur? [it had been] good for me [to have been] there still: now therefore let me see the king' s face; and if there be [any] iniquity in me, let him kill me. say <2SA15 -10> But Absalom sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, As soon as ye hear the sound of the trumpet, then ye shall {say}, Absalom reigneth in Hebron. say <2SA15 -26> But if he thus {say}, I have no delight in thee; behold, [here am] I, let him do to me as seemeth good unto him. say <2SA15 -34> But if thou return to the city, and {say} unto Absalom, I will be thy servant, O king; [as] I [have been] thy father's servant hitherto, so [will] I now also [be] thy servant: then mayest thou for me defeat the counsel of Ahithophel. say <2SA16 -10> And the king said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah? so let him curse, because the LORD hath said unto him, Curse David. Who shall then {say}, Wherefore hast thou done so? say <2SA17 -9> Behold, he is hid now in some pit, or in some [other] place: and it will come to pass, when some of them be overthrown at the first, that whosoever heareth it will {say}, There is a slaughter among the people that follow Absalom. say <2SA19 -2> And the victory that day was [turned] into mourning unto all the people: for the people heard {say} that day how the king was grieved for his son. say <2SA19 -13> And {say} ye to Amasa, [Art] thou not of my bone, and of my flesh? God do so to me, and more also, if thou be not captain of the host before me continually in the room of Joab. say <2SA20 -16> Then cried a wise woman out of the city, Hear, hear; {say}, I pray you, unto Joab, Come near hither, that I may speak with thee. say <2SA21 -4> And the Gibeonites said unto him, We will have no silver nor gold of Saul, nor of his house; neither for us shalt thou kill any man in Israel. And he said, What ye shall {say}, [that] will I do for you. say <2SA24 -1> And again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them to {say}, Go, number Israel and Judah. say <2SA24 -12> Go and {say} unto David, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three [things]; choose thee one of them, that I may [do it] unto thee. say <1KI1 -13> Go and get thee in unto king David, and {say} unto him, Didst not thou, my lord, O king, swear unto thine handmaid, saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne? why then doth Adonijah reign? say <1KI1 -25> For he is gone down this day, and hath slain oxen and fat cattle and sheep in abundance, and hath called all the king's sons, and the captains of the host, and Abiathar the priest; and, behold, they eat and drink before him, and {say}, God save king Adonijah. say <1KI1 -34> And let Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint him there king over Israel: and blow ye with the trumpet, and {say}, God save king Solomon. say <1KI1 -36> And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada answered the king, and said, Amen: the LORD God of my lord the king {say} so [too]. say <1KI2 -14> He said moreover, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And she said, {Say} on. say <1KI2 -14> He said moreover, I have somewhat to {say} unto thee. And she said, Say on. say <1KI2 -16> And now I ask one petition of thee, deny me not. And she said unto him, {Say} on. say <1KI2 -17> And he said, Speak, I pray thee, unto Solomon the king, (for he will not {say} thee nay,) that he give me Abishag the Shunammite to wife. say <1KI2 -20> Then she said, I desire one small petition of thee; [I pray thee], say me not nay. And the king said unto her, Ask on, my mother: for I will not {say} thee nay. say <1KI2 -20> Then she said, I desire one small petition of thee; [I pray thee], {say} me not nay. And the king said unto her, Ask on, my mother: for I will not say thee nay. say <1KI9 -8> And at this house, [which] is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall {say}, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and to this house? say <1KI12 -10> And the young men that were grown up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt thou speak unto this people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou [it] lighter unto us; thus shalt thou {say} unto them, My little [finger] shall be thicker than my father's loins. say <1KI13 -22> But camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which [the LORD] did {say} to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcase shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers. say <1KI14 -5> And the LORD said unto Ahijah, Behold, the wife of Jeroboam cometh to ask a thing of thee for her son; for he [is] sick: thus and thus shalt thou {say} unto her: for it shall be, when she cometh in, that she shall feign herself [to be] anot her [woman]. say <1KI16 -16> And the people [that were] encamped heard {say}, Zimri hath conspired, and hath also slain the king: wherefore all Israel made Omri, the captain of the host, king over Israel that day in the camp. say <1KI18 -44> And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, {say} unto Ahab, Prepare [thy chariot], and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not. say <1KI22 -8> And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, [There is] yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may inquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the kin g {say} so. say <1KI22 -27> And {say}, Thus saith the king, Put this [fellow] in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in peace. say <2KI1 -3> But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and {say} unto them, [Is it] not because [there is] not a God in Israel, [that] ye go to inquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron ? say <2KI1 -6> And they said unto him, There came a man up to meet us, and said unto us, Go, turn again unto the king that sent you, and {say} unto him, Thus saith the LORD, [Is it] not because [there is] not a God in Israel, [that] thou sendest to inquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron? therefore thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. say <2KI2 -18> And when they came again to him, (for he tarried at Jericho,) he said unto them, Did I not {say} unto you, Go not? say <2KI4 -13> And he said unto him, {Say} now unto her, Behold, thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what [is] to be done for thee? wouldest thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among mine own people. say <2KI4 -26> Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and {say} unto her, [Is it] well with thee? [is it] well with thy husband? [is it] well with the child? And she answered, [It is] well. say <2KI4 -28> Then she said, Did I desire a son of my lord? did I not {say}, Do not deceive me? say <2KI7 -4> If we {say}, We will enter into the city, then the famine [is] in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live ; and if they kill us, we shall but die. say <2KI7 -13> And one of his servants answered and said, Let [some] take, I pray thee, five of the horses that remain, which are left in the city, (behold, they [are] as all the multitude of Israel that are left in it: behold, [I {say}], they [are] even as all the multitude of the Israelites that are consumed:) and let us send and see. say <2KI8 -10> And Elisha said unto him, Go, {say} unto him, Thou mayest certainly recover: howbeit the LORD hath showed me that he shall surely die. say <2KI9 -3> Then take the box of oil, and pour [it] on his head, and {say}, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not. say <2KI9 -17> And there stood a watchman on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And Joram said, Take an horseman, and send to meet them, and let him {say}, [Is it] peace? say <2KI9 -37> And the carcase of Jezebel shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel; [so] that they shall not {say}, This [is] Jezebel. say <2KI18 -22> But if ye {say} unto me, We trust in the LORD our God: [is] not that he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and hath said to Judah and Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem? say <2KI19 -6> And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye {say} to your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words which thou hast heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. say <2KI19 -9> And when he heard {say} of Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, Behold, he is come out to fight against thee: he sent messengers again unto Hezekiah, saying, say <2KI22 -18> But to the king of Judah which sent you to inquire of the LORD, thus shall ye {say} to him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, [As touching] the words which thou hast heard; say <1CH5 -3> The sons, [I {say}], of Reuben the firstborn of Israel [were], Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi. say <1CH16 -31> Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let [men] {say} among the nations, The LORD reigneth. say <1CH16 -35> And {say} ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, [and] glory in thy praise. say <1CH17 -7> Now therefore thus shalt thou {say} unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, [even] from following the sheep, that thou shouldest be ruler over my people Israel: say <1CH21 -18> Then the angel of the LORD commanded Gad to {say} to David, that David should go up, and set up an altar unto the LORD in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite. say <2CH7 -21> And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall {say}, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and unto this house? say <2CH10 -10> And the young men that were brought up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt thou answer the people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou [it] somewhat lighter for us; thus shalt thou {say} unto them, My little [finger] shall be thicker than my father's loins. say <2CH18 -7> And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, [There is] yet one man, by whom we may inquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he never prophesied good unto me, but always evil: the same [is] Micaiah the son of Imla. And Jehoshaphat said, Le t not the king {say} so. say <2CH18 -15> And the king said to him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou {say} nothing but the truth to me in the name of the LORD? say <2CH18 -26> And {say}, Thus saith the king, Put this [fellow] in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I return in peace. say <2CH20 -11> Behold, [I {say}, how] they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou hast given us to inherit. say <2CH20 -21> And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to {say}, Praise the LORD; for his mercy [endureth] for ever. say <2CH34 -26> And as for the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the LORD, so shall ye {say} unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel [concerning] the words which thou hast heard; say And I sent them with commandment unto Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and I told them what they should {say} unto Iddo, [and] to his brethren the Nethinims, at the place Casiphia, that they should bring unto us ministers for the house of our God. say And now, O our God, what shall we {say} after this? for we have forsaken thy commandments, say Who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number, [I {say}], of the men of the people of Israel [was this]; say And foundest his heart faithful before thee, and madest a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Jebusites, and the Girgashites, to give [it, I {say}], to his seed, and h ast performed thy words; for thou [art] righteous: say Likewise] shall the ladies of Persia and Media {say} this day unto all the king's princes, which have heard of the deed of the queen. Thus [shall there arise] too much contempt and wrath. say Did I {say}, Bring unto me? or, Give a reward for me of your substance? say When I lie down, I {say}, When shall I arise, and the night be gone? and I am full of tossings to and fro unto the dawning of the day. say When I {say}, My bed shall comfort me, my couch shall ease my complaint; say Behold, he taketh away, who can hinder him? who will {say} unto him, What doest thou? say If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: [if I {say}], I [am] perfect, it shall also prove me perverse. say If I {say}, I will forget my complaint, I will leave off my heaviness, and comfort [myself]: say I will {say} unto God, Do not condemn me; show me wherefore thou contendest with me. say But ye should {say}, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me? say Yet] he shall perish for ever like his own dung: they which have seen him shall {say}, Where [is] he? say Therefore they {say} unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways. say For ye {say}, Where [is] the house of the prince? and where [are] the dwelling places of the wicked? say When [men] are cast down, then thou shalt {say}, [There is] lifting up; and he shall save the humble person. say I would know the words [which] he would answer me, and understand what he would {say} unto me. say Destruction and death {say}, We have heard the fame thereof with our ears. say Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to {say}. say Lest ye should {say}, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man. say He looketh upon men, and [if any] {say}, I have sinned, and perverted [that which was] right, and it profited me not; say If thou hast any thing to {say}, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee. say Is it fit] to {say} to a king, [Thou art] wicked? [and] to princes, [Ye are] ungodly? say Who hath enjoined him his way? or who can {say}, Thou hast wrought iniquity? say Teach us what we shall {say} unto him; [for] we cannot order [our speech] by reason of darkness. say Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go, and {say} unto thee, Here we [are]? say Many [there be] which {say} of my soul, [There is] no help for him in God. Selah. say There be] many that {say}, Who will show us [any] good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us. say To the chief Musician, [A Psalm] of David. In the LORD put I my trust: how {say} ye to my soul, Flee [as] a bird to your mountain? say Lest mine enemy {say}, I have prevailed against him; [and] those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved. say Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I {say}, on the LORD. say Draw out also the spear, and stop [the way] against them that persecute me: {say} unto my soul, I [am] thy salvation. say All my bones shall {say}, LORD, who [is] like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him? say Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not {say}, We have swallowed him up. say Let them not {say} in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up. say Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them {say} continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. say Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that {say} unto me, Aha, aha. say Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation {say} continually, The LORD be magnified. say An evil disease, [{say} they], cleaveth fast unto him: and [now] that he lieth he shall rise up no more. say My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually {say} unto me, Where [is] thy God? say I will {say} unto God my rock, Why hast thou forgotten me? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? say As] with a sword in my bones, mine enemies reproach me; while they {say} daily unto me, Where [is] thy God? say So that a man shall {say}, Verily [there is] a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth. say Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords [are] in their lips: for who, [{say} they], doth hear? say They encourage themselves [in] an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they {say}, Who shall see them? say {Say} unto God, How terrible [art thou in] thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee. say Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that {say}, Aha, aha. say Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation {say} continually, Let God be magnified. say And they {say}, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High? say If I {say}, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend [against] the generation of thy children. say Wherefore should the heathen {say}, Where [is] their God? let him be known among the heathen in our sight [by] the revenging of the blood of thy servants [which is] shed. say I will {say} of the LORD, [He is] my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. say Yet they {say}, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard [it]. say {Say} among the heathen [that] the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. say Blessed [be] the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people {say}, Amen. Praise ye the LORD. say Let the redeemed of the LORD {say} [so], whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; say Wherefore should the heathen {say}, Where [is] now their God? say Let Israel now {say}, that his mercy [endureth] for ever. say Let the house of Aaron now {say}, that his mercy [endureth] for ever. say Let them now that fear the LORD {say}, that his mercy [endureth] for ever. say For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now {say}, Peace [be] within thee. say A Song of degrees of David. If [it had not been] the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel {say}; say A Song of degrees. Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now {say}: say Neither do they which go by {say}, The blessing of the LORD [be] upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD. say My soul [waiteth] for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: [I {say}, more than] they that watch for the morning. say If I {say}, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. say If they {say}, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause: say {Say} not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee. say And {say}, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof; say {Say} unto wisdom, Thou [art] my sister; and call understanding [thy] kinswoman: say Who can {say}, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin? say {Say} not thou, I will recompense evil; [but] wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee. say They have stricken me, [shalt thou {say}, and] I was not sick; they have beaten me, [and] I felt [it] not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again. say {Say} not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work. say Lest I be full, and deny [thee], and {say}, Who [is] the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God [in vain]. say The horseleach hath two daughters, [crying], Give, give. There are three [things that] are never satisfied, [yea], four [things] {say} not, [It is] enough: say Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither {say} thou before the angel, that it [was] an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands? say If a man beget an hundred [children], and live many years, so that the days of his years be many, and his soul be not filled with good, and also [that] he have no burial; I {say}, [that] an untimely birth [is] better than he. say {Say} not thou, What is [the cause] that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not inquire wisely concerning this. say Where the word of a king [is, there is] power: and who may {say} unto him, What doest thou? say Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt {say}, I have no pleasure in them; say And many people shall go and {say}, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the wor d of the LORD from Jerusalem. say {Say} ye to the righteous, that [it shall be] well [with him]: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. say That {say}, Let him make speed, [and] hasten his work, that we may see [it]: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know [it]! say And {say} unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah. say Say ye not, A confederacy, to all [them to] whom this people shall {say}, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. say {Say} ye not, A confederacy, to all [them to] whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. say And when they shall {say} unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? say And all the people shall know, [even] Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that {say} in the pride and stoutness of heart, say And in that day thou shalt {say}, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. say And in that day shall ye {say}, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. say That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and {say}, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased! say All they shall speak and {say} unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us? say Surely the princes of Zoan [are] fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how {say} ye unto Pharaoh, I [am] the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings? say And the inhabitant of this isle shall {say} in that day, Behold, such [is] our expectation, whither we flee for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we escape? say Thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, Go, get thee unto this treasurer, [even] unto Shebna, which [is] over the house, [and {say}], say Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they {say}, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us? say Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work {say} of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding? say Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed {say} of him that framed it, He had no understanding? say Which {say} to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: say Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt {say} unto it, Get thee hence. say And the inhabitant shall not {say}, I am sick: the people that dwell therein [shall be] forgiven [their] iniquity. say {Say} to them [that are] of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come [with] vengeance, [even] God [with] a recompense; he will come and save you. say And Rabshakeh said unto them, {Say} ye now to Hezekiah, Thus saith the great king, the king of Assyria, What confidence [is] this wherein thou trustest? say I {say}, [sayest thou], (but [they are but] vain words) [I have] counsel and strength for war: now on whom dost thou trust, that thou rebellest against me? say But if thou {say} to me, We trust in the LORD our God: [is it] not he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and said to Judah and to Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar? say And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye {say} unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. say And he heard {say} concerning Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, He is come forth to make war with thee. And when he heard [it], he sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying, say Go, and {say} to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. say What shall I {say}? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done [it]: I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul. say O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift [it] up, be not afraid; {say} unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! say Who hath declared from the beginning, that we may know? and beforetime, that we may {say}, [He is] righteous? yea, [there is] none that showeth, yea, [there is] none that declareth, yea, [there is] none that heareth your words. say The first [shall {say}] to Zion, Behold, behold them: and I will give to Jerusalem one that bringeth good tidings. say They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that {say} to the molten images, Ye [are] our gods. say I will {say} to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; say Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and show us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and {say}, [It is] tr uth. say One shall {say}, I [am] the LORD's; and another shall call [himself] by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe [with] his hand unto the LORD, and surname [himself] by the name of Israel. say And none considereth in his heart, neither [is there] knowledge nor understanding to {say}, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten [it]: and shall I make t he residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree? say He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor {say}, [Is there] not a lie in my right hand? say Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! [Let] the potsherd [strive] with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay {say} to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands? say Surely, shall [one] {say}, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: [even] to him shall [men] come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed. say I have even from the beginning declared [it] to thee; before it came to pass I showed [it] thee: lest thou shouldest {say}, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them. say They are created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest {say}, Behold, I knew them. say Go ye forth of Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it [even] to the end of the earth; {say} ye, The LORD hath redeemed his servant Jacob. say That thou mayest {say} to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that [are] in darkness, Show yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures [shall be] in all high places. say The children which thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the other, shall {say} again in thine ears, The place [is] too strait for me: give place to me that I may dwell. say Then shalt thou {say} in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where [had] they [been]? say And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and {say} unto Zion, Thou [art] my people. say Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch {say}, Behold, I [am] a dry tree. say Come ye, [{say} they], I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, [and] much more abundant. say And shall {say}, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumbling block out of the way of my people. say Wherefore have we fasted, [{say} they], and thou seest not? [wherefore] have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labours. say Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall {say}, Here I [am]. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity; say Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, {Say} ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward [is] with him, and his work before him. say Which {say}, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These [are] a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day. say But the LORD said unto me, {Say} not, I [am] a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. say How canst thou {say}, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? see thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done: [thou art] a swift dromedary traversing her ways; say Saying to a stock, Thou [art] my father; and to a stone, Thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned [their] back unto me, and not [their] face: but in the time of their trouble they will {say}, Arise, and save us. say O generation, see ye the word of the LORD. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel? a land of darkness? wherefore {say} my people, We are lords; we will come no more unto thee? say They {say}, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith t he LORD. say Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and {say}, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; [and] I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I [am] merciful, saith the LORD, [and] I will not keep [anger] for ever. say And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall {say} no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit [it]; neither shall [that] be done any more. say Declare ye in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and say, Blow ye the trumpet in the land: cry, gather together, and {say}, Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the defenced cities. say Declare ye in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and {say}, Blow ye the trumpet in the land: cry, gather together, and say, Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the defenced cities. say And though they {say}, The LORD liveth; surely they swear falsely. say Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the LORD: it [is] a mighty nation, it [is] an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they {say}. say And it shall come to pass, when ye shall {say}, Wherefore doeth the LORD our God all these [things] unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a la nd [that is] not yours. say Neither {say} they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest. say Stand in the gate of the LORD's house, and proclaim there this word, and {say}, Hear the word of the LORD, all [ye of] Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD. say And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and {say}, We are delivered to do all these abominations? say But thou shalt {say} unto them, This [is] a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the LORD their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth. say Moreover thou shalt {say} unto them, Thus saith the LORD; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return? say How do ye {say}, We [are] wise, and the law of the LORD [is] with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he [it]; the pen of the scribes [is] in vain. say Thus shall ye {say} unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, [even] they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens. say And {say} thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Cursed [be] the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant, say Therefore thou shalt speak unto them this word; Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Every bottle shall be filled with wine: and they shall {say} unto thee, Do we not certainly know that every bottle shall be filled with wine? say Then shalt thou {say} unto them, Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will fill all the inhabitants of this land, even the kings that sit upon David's throne, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, with drunkenn ess. say {Say} unto the king and to the queen, Humble yourselves, sit down: for your principalities shall come down, [even] the crown of your glory. say What wilt thou {say} when he shall punish thee? for thou hast taught them [to be] captains, [and] as chief over thee: shall not sorrows take thee, as a woman in travail? say And if thou {say} in thine heart, Wherefore come these things upon me? For the greatness of thine iniquity are thy skirts discovered, [and] thy heels made bare. say Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets {say} unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place. say Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they {say}, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed. say Therefore thou shalt {say} this word unto them; Let mine eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease: for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous blow. say And it shall come to pass, if they {say} unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such as [are] for death, to death; and such as [are] for the sword, to the sword; and such as [are] for the famin e, to the famine; and such as [are] for the captivity, to the captivity. say And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt show this people all these words, and they shall {say} unto thee, Wherefore hath the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what [is] our iniquity? or what [is] our sin that we have co mmitted against the LORD our God? say Then shalt thou {say} unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the LORD, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law; say O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall {say}, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and [things] wherein [there is] no profit. say Behold, they {say} unto me, Where [is] the word of the LORD? let it come now. say And {say} unto them, Hear ye the word of the LORD, ye kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, that enter in by these gates: say And {say}, Hear ye the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle. say And shalt {say} unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Even so will I break this people and this city, as [one] breaketh a potter's vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury [them] in Tophet, till [there be] no place t o bury. say For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, [{say} they], and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, [saying], Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him. say Then said Jeremiah unto them, Thus shall ye {say} to Zedekiah: say And unto this people thou shalt {say}, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death. say And touching the house of the king of Judah, [{say}], Hear ye the word of the LORD; say Behold, I [am] against thee, O inhabitant of the valley, [and] rock of the plain, saith the LORD; which {say}, Who shall come down against us? or who shall enter into our habitations? say And {say}, Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, that sittest upon the throne of David, thou, and thy servants, and thy people that enter in by these gates: say And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall {say} every man to his neighbour, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this great city? say Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more {say}, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; say They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they {say} unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you. say They {say} still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you. say Behold, I [am] against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and {say}, He saith. say And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What [is] the burden of the LORD? thou shalt then {say} unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD. say And [as for] the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall {say}, The burden of the LORD, I will even punish that man and his house. say Thus shall ye {say} every one to his neighbour, and every one to his brother, What hath the LORD answered? and, What hath the LORD spoken? say Thus shalt thou {say} to the prophet, What hath the LORD answered thee? and, What hath the LORD spoken? say But since ye say, The burden of the LORD; therefore thus saith the LORD; Because ye {say} this word, The burden of the LORD, and I have sent unto you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of the LORD; say But since ye say, The burden of the LORD; therefore thus saith the LORD; Because ye say this word, The burden of the LORD, and I have sent unto you, saying, Ye shall not {say}, The burden of the LORD; say But since ye {say}, The burden of the LORD; therefore thus saith the LORD; Because ye say this word, The burden of the LORD, and I have sent unto you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of the LORD; say Therefore thou shalt {say} unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Drink ye, and be drunken, and spue, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you. say And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thine hand to drink, then shalt thou {say} unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ye shall certainly drink. say Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and {say} unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that trea d [the grapes], against all the inhabitants of the earth. say And thou shalt {say} unto them, Thus saith the LORD; If ye will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you, say And command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye {say} unto your masters; say And command them to {say} unto their masters, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say unto your masters; say For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and {say}, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel. say Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare [it] in the isles afar off, and {say}, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd [doth] his flock. say In those days they shall {say} no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge. say For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, Wherefore dost thou prophesy, and {say}, Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it; say And now therefore thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning this city, whereof ye {say}, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence; say And fields shall be bought in this land, whereof ye {say}, [It is] desolate without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans. say Thus saith the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye {say} [shall be] desolate without man and without beast, [even] in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without in habitant, and without beast, say The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall {say}, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD [is] good; for his mercy [endureth] for ever: [and] of them th at shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD. say And thou shalt {say} to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast? say Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye {say} to the king of Judah, that sent you unto me to inquire of me; Behold, Pharaoh's army, which is come forth to help you, shall return to Egypt into their own land. say And, behold, all the women that are left in the king of Judah's house [shall be] brought forth to the king of Babylon's princes, and those [women] shall {say}, Thy friends have set thee on, and have prevailed against thee: thy feet are sun k in the mire, [and] they are turned away back. say But if the princes hear that I have talked with thee, and they come unto thee, and {say} unto thee, Declare unto us now what thou hast said unto the king, hide it not from us, and we will not put thee to death; also what the king said unto thee: say Then thou shalt {say} unto them, I presented my supplication before the king, that he would not cause me to return to Jonathan's house, to die there. say Take him, and look well to him, and do him no harm; but do unto him even as he shall {say} unto thee. say But if ye {say}, We will not dwell in this land, neither obey the voice of the LORD your God, say For ye dissembled in your hearts, when ye sent me unto the LORD your God, saying, Pray for us unto the LORD our God; and according unto all that the LORD our God shall {say}, so declare unto us, and we will do [it]. say Then spake Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying unto Jeremiah, Thou speakest falsely: the LORD our God hath not sent thee to {say}, Go not into Egypt to sojourn there: say And {say} unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he shall spread his royal pav ilion over them. say Thou didst {say}, Woe is me now! for the LORD hath added grief to my sorrow; I fainted in my sighing, and I find no rest. say Thus shalt thou {say} unto him, The LORD saith thus; Behold, [that] which I have built will I break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up, even this whole land. say Declare ye in Egypt, and publish in Migdol, and publish in Noph and in Tahpanhes: {say} ye, Stand fast, and prepare thee; for the sword shall devour round about thee. say How {say} ye, We [are] mighty and strong men for the war? say All ye that are about him, bemoan him; and all ye that know his name, {say}, How is the strong staff broken, [and] the beautiful rod! say O inhabitant of Aroer, stand by the way, and espy; ask him that fleeth, and her that escapeth, [and] {say}, What is done? say Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, [and] conceal not: {say}, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces. say The violence done to me and to my flesh [be] upon Babylon, shall the inhabitant of Zion say; and my blood upon the inhabitants of Chaldea, shall Jerusalem {say}. say The violence done to me and to my flesh [be] upon Babylon, shall the inhabitant of Zion {say}; and my blood upon the inhabitants of Chaldea, shall Jerusalem say. say Then shalt thou {say}, O LORD, thou hast spoken against this place, to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever. say And thou shalt {say}, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary. Thus far [are] the words of Jeremiah. say They {say} to their mothers, Where [is] corn and wine? when they swooned as the wounded in the streets of the city, when their soul was poured out into their mothers' bosom. say All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth: they {say}, We have swallowed [her] up: certainly this [is] the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen [it]. say For [they are] impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt {say} unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD. say But thou, son of man, hear what I {say} unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee. say When I {say} unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked [man] shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at th ine hand. say But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt {say} unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; He that heareth, let him hear; and he that forbeareth, let him forbear: for they [are] a rebellious house. say And {say}, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, [even] I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high p laces. say Thus saith the Lord GOD; Smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot, and {say}, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence. say Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they {say}, The LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth. say Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah [is] exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they {say}, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not. say Which {say}, [It is] not near; let us build houses: this [city is] the caldron, and we [be] the flesh. say Therefore {say}, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come. say Therefore {say}, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. say {Say} thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; This burden [concerneth] the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel that [are] among them. say {Say}, I [am] your sign: like as I have done, so shall it be done unto them: they shall remove [and] go into captivity. say And {say} unto the people of the land, Thus saith the Lord GOD of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, [and] of the land of Israel; They shall eat their bread with carefulness, and drink their water with astonishment, that her land may be desolat e from all that is therein, because of the violence of all them that dwell therein. say Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but {say} unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision. say For I [am] the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I {say} the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD. say Son of man, behold, [they of] the house of Israel {say}, The vision that he seeth [is] for many days [to come], and he prophesieth of the times [that are] far off. say Therefore {say} unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord GOD. say Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and {say} thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the LORD; say Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye {say}, The LORD saith [it]; albeit I have not spoken? say {Say} unto them which daub [it] with untempered [mortar], that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend [it]. say Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered [mortar], and will {say} unto you, The wall [is] no [more], neither they that daubed it; say And {say}, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the [women] that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive [that come] unt o you? say Therefore speak unto them, and {say} unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I t he LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols; say Therefore {say} unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn [yourselves] from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations. say Or [if] I bring a sword upon that land, and {say}, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off man and beast from it: say And {say}, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto Jerusalem; Thy birth and thy nativity [is] of the land of Canaan; thy father [was] an Amorite, and thy mother an Hittite. say And {say}, Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar: say {Say} thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Shall it prosper? shall he not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it wither? it shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof. say {Say} now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these [things mean]? tell [them], Behold, the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon; say Yet {say} ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, [and] hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live. say Yet ye {say}, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal? say And {say}, What [is] thy mother? A lioness: she lay down among lions, she nourished her whelps among young lions. say Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and {say} unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye come to inquire of me? [As] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be inquired of by you. say And {say} unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying, I [am] the LORD your God; say Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and {say} unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Yet in this your fathers have blasphemed me, in that they have committed a trespass against me. say Wherefore {say} unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers? and commit ye whoredom after their abominations? say And that which cometh into your mind shall not be at all, that ye {say}, We will be as the heathen, as the families of the countries, to serve wood and stone. say And {say} to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein. say Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they {say} of me, Doth he not speak parables? say And {say} to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I [am] against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked. say And it shall be, when they {say} unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak [as] water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord GOD. say Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD; {Say}, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished: say Son of man, prophesy, and {say}, Thus saith the LORD; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished: say Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, [I {say}], that ye are come to remembrance, ye sha ll be taken with the hand. say And thou, son of man, prophesy and {say}, Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword [is] drawn: for the slaughter [it is] furbished, to consume because of the glitt ering: say And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even {say} thou, The sword, the sword [is] drawn: for the slaughter [it is] furbished, to consume because of the glitt ering: say Then {say} thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD, The city sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and maketh idols against herself to defile herself. say Son of man, {say} unto her, Thou [art] the land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation. say And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and {say} unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, set [it] on, and also pour water into it: say And {say} unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah , when they went into captivity; say Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir do {say}, Behold, the house of Judah [is] like unto all the heathen; say And they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and {say} to thee, How art thou destroyed, [that wast] inhabited of seafaring men, the renowned city, which wast strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, which cause their terror [to be] on all that haunt it! say And {say} unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, [which art] a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I [am] of perfect beauty. say Son of man, {say} unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart [is] lifted up, and thou hast said, I [am] a God, I sit [in] the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou [art] a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God: say Wilt thou yet {say} before him that slayeth thee, I [am] God? but thou [shalt be] a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee. say Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and {say} unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. say And {say}, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her. say Speak, and {say}, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river [is] mine own, and I have made [it] for myself. say Son of man, prophesy and {say}, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Howl ye, Woe worth the day! say Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and {say} unto him, Thou art like a young lion of the nations, and thou [art] as a whale in the seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy fee t, and fouledst their rivers. say Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and {say} unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: say When I {say} unto the wicked, O wicked [man], thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked [man] shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. say {Say} unto them, [As] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? say Therefore, thou son of man, {say} unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his [righteousness] in the day that he sinneth. say When I shall {say} to the righteous, [that] he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it. say Again, when I {say} unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right; say Yet the children of thy people {say}, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal. say Yet ye {say}, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways. say Wherefore {say} unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land? say {Say} thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; [As] I live, surely they that [are] in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that [is] in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that [be] in the forts an d in the caves shall die of the pestilence. say Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and {say} unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe [be] to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks? say And {say} unto it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I [am] against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate. say Also, thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and {say}, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD: say Therefore prophesy and {say}, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they have made [you] desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and [are] an infamy of the people: say Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and {say} unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the sha me of the heathen: say Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they {say} unto you, Thou [land] devourest up men, and hast bereaved thy nations; say Therefore {say} unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not [this] for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went. say And they shall {say}, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities [are become] fenced, [and] are inhabited. say Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and {say} unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. say Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and {say} to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. say Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they {say}, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. say Therefore prophesy and {say} unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. say {Say} unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which [is] in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, [even] with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick , and they shall be one in mine hand. say And {say} unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: say And {say}, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: say And thou shalt {say}, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, say Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall {say} unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil? say Therefore, son of man, prophesy and {say} unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know [it]? say Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and {say}, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: say And the LORD said unto me, Son of man, mark well, and behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears all that I {say} unto thee concerning all the ordinances of the house of the LORD, and all the laws thereof; and mark well the entering i n of the house, with every going forth of the sanctuary. say And thou shalt {say} to the rebellious, [even] to the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O ye house of Israel, let it suffice you of all your abominations, say And all the inhabitants of the earth [are] reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and [among] the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or {say} unto him, What doest thou? say There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom [is] the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, [I {say}], thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, [and] soothsayers; say {Say} ye unto your brethren, Ammi; and to your sisters, Ruhamah. say And she shall follow after her lovers, but she shall not overtake them; and she shall seek them, but shall not find [them]: then shall she {say}, I will go and return to my first husband; for then [was it] better with me than now. say And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to [them which were] not my people, Thou [art] my people; and they shall {say}, [Thou art] my God. say And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will {say} to [them which were] not my people, Thou [art] my people; and they shall say, [Thou art] my God. say For now they shall {say}, We have no king, because we feared not the LORD; what then should a king do to us? say The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall {say} to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us. say And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, [and] idols according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they {say} of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves. say Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: {say} unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive [us] graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips. say Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we {say} any more to the work of our hands, [Ye are] our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy. say Ephraim [shall {say}], What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard [him], and observed him: I [am] like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found. say Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they {say} among the people, Where [is] their God? say Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them {say}, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where [is] their God? say Yea, the LORD will answer and {say} unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen: say Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak {say}, I [am] strong. say Publish in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and {say}, Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great tumults in the midst thereof, and the oppressed in the midst thereof. say Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that [are] in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which {say} to their masters, Bring, and let us drink. say Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the Lord, saith thus; Wailing [shall be] in all streets; and they shall {say} in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to w ailing. say And a man's uncle shall take him up, and he that burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that [is] by the sides of the house, [Is there] yet [any] with thee? and he shall say, No. Then shall he {say}, Ho ld thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD. say And a man's uncle shall take him up, and he that burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall {say} unto him that [is] by the sides of the house, [Is there] yet [any] with thee? and he shall say, No. Then shall he say, Ho ld thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD. say And a man's uncle shall take him up, and he that burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that [is] by the sides of the house, [Is there] yet [any] with thee? and he shall {say}, No. Then shall he say, Ho ld thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD. say Ye which rejoice in a thing of nought, which {say}, Have we not taken to us horns by our own strength? say They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and {say}, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again. say All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which {say}, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us. say In that day shall [one] take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, [and] {say}, We be utterly spoiled: he hath changed the portion of my people: how hath he removed [it] from me! turning away he hath divided our fi elds. say Prophesy ye not, [{say} they to them that] prophesy: they shall not prophesy to them, [that] they shall not take shame. say The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and {say}, [Is] not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us. say And many nations shall come, and {say}, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the wo rd of the LORD from Jerusalem. say Now also many nations are gathered against thee, that {say}, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion. say And it shall come to pass, [that] all they that look upon thee shall flee from thee, and {say}, Nineveh is laid waste: who will bemoan her? whence shall I seek comforters for thee? say I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will {say} unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. say Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and {say}, Woe to him that increaseth [that which is] not his! how long? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay! say And it shall come to pass at that time, [that] I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that {say} in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil. say Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people {say}, The time is not come, the time that the LORD'S house should be built. say Therefore {say} thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. say Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them {say}, Blessed [be] the LORD; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not. say And the governors of Judah shall {say} in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem [shall be] my strength in the LORD of hosts their God. say And it shall come to pass, [that] when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall {say} unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth. say But he shall {say}, I [am] no prophet, I [am] an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth. say And [one] shall {say} unto him, What [are] these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, [Those] with which I was wounded [in] the house of my friends. say And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It [is] my people: and they shall {say}, The LORD [is] my God. say And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will {say}, It [is] my people: and they shall say, The LORD [is] my God. say I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye {say}, Wherein hast thou loved us? [Was] not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, say And your eyes shall see, and ye shall {say}, The LORD will be magnified from the border of Israel. say A son honoureth [his] father, and a servant his master: if then I [be] a father, where [is] mine honour? and if I [be] a master, where [is] my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye {say}, Wherein hav e we despised thy name? say Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye {say}, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD [is] contemptible. say Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye {say}, The table of the LORD [is] contemptible. say But ye have profaned it, in that ye {say}, The table of the LORD [is] polluted; and the fruit thereof, [even] his meat, [is] contemptible. say Yet ye {say}, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet [is] she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant. say Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied [him]? When ye {say}, Every one that doeth evil [is] good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where [is] the God of judgment? say Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye {say}, Wherein have we wearied [him]? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil [is] good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where [is] the God of judgment? say Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye {say}, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. say Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye {say}, What have we spoken [so much] against thee? say And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to [our] father: for I {say} unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. say And think not to {say} within yourselves, We have Abraham to [our] father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. say From that time Jesus began to preach, and to {say}, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. say Blessed are ye, when [men] shall revile you, and persecute [you], and shall {say} all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. say For verily I {say} unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. say For I {say} unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed [the righteousness] of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. say But I {say} unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. say But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall {say} to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. say But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall {say}, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. say Verily I {say} unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing. say But I {say} unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. say But I {say} unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. say But I {say} unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: say But I {say} unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. say But I {say} unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; say Therefore when thou doest [thine] alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I {say} unto you, They have their reward. say And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites [are]: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I {say} unto you, They have their reward. say Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I {say} unto you, They have their reward. say Therefore I {say} unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? say And yet I {say} unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. say Or how wilt thou {say} to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam [is] in thine own eye? say Many will {say} to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? say For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I {say} to this [man], Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth [it]. say When Jesus heard [it], he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I {say} unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. say And I {say} unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. say For whether is easier, to say, [Thy] sins be forgiven thee; or to {say}, Arise, and walk? say For whether is easier, to {say}, [Thy] sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk? say Verily I {say} unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city. say But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I {say} unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. say And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold [water] only in the name of a disciple, verily I {say} unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward. say And as they departed, Jesus began to {say} unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind? say But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I {say} unto you, and more than a prophet. say Verily I {say} unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. say For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they {say}, He hath a devil. say The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they {say}, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. And he said unto them, Ye {say} that I am. say For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall {say}, Blessed are] the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck. say Then shall they begin to {say} to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us. say And Jesus said unto him, Verily I {say} unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. say Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, which is to {say}, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou? say And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I {say} unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man. say Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I {say} unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. say Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I {say} unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. say Verily, verily, I {say} unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. say Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye {say}, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. say {Say} not ye, There are yet four months, and then] cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. say Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then] cometh harvest? behold, I {say} unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. say Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I {say} unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. say Verily, verily, I {say} unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. say Verily, verily, I {say} unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. say But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I {say}, that ye might be saved. say Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I {say} unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. say Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I {say} unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. say Verily, verily, I {say} unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. say Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I {say} unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. say But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they {say} nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ? say They {say} unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. say I have many things to {say} and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him. say Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I {say} unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. say Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I {say} the truth, why do ye not believe me? say Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, {Say} we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil? say Verily, verily, I {say} unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death. say Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye {say}, that he is your God: say Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should {say}, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. say Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I {say} unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. say They {say} unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet. say And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who ye {say} was born blind? how then doth he now see? say Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye {say}, We see; therefore your sin remaineth. say Verily, verily, I {say} unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. say Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I {say} unto you, I am the door of the sheep. say {Say} ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? say His] disciples {say} unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again? say Verily, verily, I {say} unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. say Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I {say}? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. say For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should {say}, and what I should speak. say Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye {say} well; for so] I am. say Verily, verily, I {say} unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. say Verily, verily, I {say} unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. say When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I {say} unto you, that one of you shall betray me. say Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I {say} to you. say Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I {say} unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice. say Verily, verily, I {say} unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. say I have yet many things to {say} unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. say Verily, verily, I {say} unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. say And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I {say} unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it] you. say At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I {say} not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: say And they {say} unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him. say Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to {say}, Master. say Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and {say} unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to] my God, and your God. say Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They {say} unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing. say Verily, verily, I {say} unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee] whither thou w ouldest not. say And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to {say}, The field of blood. say For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall {say} unto you. say And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could {say} nothing against it. say And now I {say} unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: say For we have heard him {say}, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us. say That word, I {say}], ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; say And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye] men and] brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, {say} on. say Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoicks, encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler {say}? other some, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurr ection. say Do therefore this that we {say} to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them; say For the Sadducees {say} that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both. say So he took him, and brought him] to the chief captain, and said, Paul the prisoner called me unto him], and prayed me to bring this young man unto thee, who hath something to {say} unto thee. say And when it was told me how that the Jews laid wait for the man, I sent straightway to thee, and gave commandment to his accusers also to {say} before thee what they had] against him. Farewell. say Or else let these same here] {say}, if they have found any evil doing in me, while I stood before the council, say Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did {say} should come: say Saying, Go unto this people, and {say}, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive: say But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we {say}? Is] God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? I speak as a man) say And not rather], as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we {say},) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just. say To declare, I {say}], at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. say What shall we {say} then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found? say Cometh] this blessedness then upon the circumcision only], or upon the uncircumcision also? for we {say} that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. say What shall we {say} then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? say What shall we {say} then? is] the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. say What shall we then {say} to these things? If God be] for us, who can be] against us? say I {say} the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, say What shall we {say} then? Is there] unrighteousness with God? God forbid. say Thou wilt {say} then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? say Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed {say} to him that formed it], Why hast thou made me thus? say What shall we {say} then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith. say But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, {Say} not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? that is, to bring Christ down from above]:) say But I {say}, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world. say But I {say}, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are] no people, and] by a foolish nation I will anger you. say I {say} then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of] the tribe of Benjamin. say I {say} then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather] through their fall salvation is come] unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. say Thou wilt {say} then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in. say For I {say}, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. say Now I {say} that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made] unto the fathers: say <1CO1 -12> Now this I {say}, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. say <1CO1 -15> Lest any should {say} that I had baptized in mine own name. say <1CO7 -8> I {say} therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. say <1CO7 -26> I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, I {say}], that it is] good for a man so to be. say <1CO7 -29> But this I {say}, brethren, the time is] short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; say <1CO9 -8> {Say} I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? say <1CO10 -15> I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I {say}. say <1CO10 -19> What {say} I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? say <1CO10 -20> But I {say}], that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. say <1CO10 -28> But if any man {say} unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that showed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is] the Lord's, and the fulness thereof: say <1CO10 -29> Conscience, I {say}, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man's] conscience? say <1CO11 -22> What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I {say} to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you] not. say <1CO12 -3> Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that] no man can {say} that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. say <1CO12 -15> If the foot shall {say}, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? say <1CO12 -16> And if the ear shall {say}, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? say <1CO12 -21> And the eye cannot {say} unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. say <1CO14 -16> Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned {say} Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest? say <1CO14 -23> If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are] unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not {say} that ye are mad? say <1CO15 -12> Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how {say} some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? say <1CO15 -35> But some man] will {say}, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? say <1CO15 -50> Now this I {say}, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. say <2CO5 -8> We are confident, I {say}], and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. say <2CO9 -4> Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we that we {say} not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting. say <2CO9 -6> But this I {say}], He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. say <2CO10 -10> For his] letters, {say} they, are] weighty and powerful; but his] bodily presence is] weak, and his] speech contemptible. say <2CO11 -16> I {say} again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little. say <2CO12 -6> For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will {say} the truth: but now] I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be], or that] he heareth of me. say As we said before, so {say} I now again, If any man] preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. say And this I {say}, that] the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. say Now I {say}, That] the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; say Behold, I Paul {say} unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. say This] I {say} then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. say This I {say} therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, say Rejoice in the Lord alway: and] again I {say}, Rejoice. say And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I {say}], whether they be] things in earth, or things in heaven. say And this I {say}, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words. say And {say} to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it. say <1TH4 -15> For this we {say} unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. say <1TH5 -3> For when they shall {say}, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. say <1TI1 -7> Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they {say}, nor whereof they affirm. say <2TI2 -7> Consider what I {say}; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things. say Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to {say} of you. say I Paul have written it] with mine own hand, I will repay it]: albeit I do not {say} to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides. say Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I {say}. say Of whom we have many things to {say}, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. say And as I may so {say}, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham. say But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to {say}, not of this building; say By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to {say}, his flesh; say For they that {say} such things declare plainly that they seek a country. say And what shall I more {say}? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of] Barak, and of] Samson, and of] Jephthae; of] David also, and Samuel, and of] the prophets: say So that we may boldly {say}, The Lord is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. say Let no man {say} when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: say And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and {say} to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: say And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and {say} unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: say What doth it] profit, my brethren, though a man {say} he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? say And one of you {say} unto them, Depart in peace, be ye] warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it] profit? say Yea, a man may {say}, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works. say Go to now, ye that {say}, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: say For that ye ought] to {say}, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. say <1JO1 -6> If we {say} that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: say <1JO1 -8> If we {say} that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. say <1JO1 -10> If we {say} that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. say <1JO4 -20> If a man {say}, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? say <1JO5 -16> If any man see his brother sin a sin which is] not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not {say} that he shall pray for it. say I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which {say} they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: say I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, but thou art rich) and I know] the blasphemy of them which {say} they are Jews, and are not, but are] the synagogue of Satan. say But unto you I {say}, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. say Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which {say} they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. say And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast {say}, Come and see. say And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast {say}, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. say And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts {say}, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see] thou hurt not the oil and the wine. say And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast {say}, Come and see. say And I heard the angel of the waters {say}, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. say And I heard another out of the altar {say}, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are] thy judgments. say And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth {say}, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. say And the Spirit and the bride {say}, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. ~~~~~~
