And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live. death For the grave cannot praise thee, {death} can [not] celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. death And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his {death}; because he had done no violence, neither [was any] deceit in his mouth. death Therefore will I divide him [a portion] with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto {death}: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made in tercession for the transgressors. death Neither said they, Where [is] the LORD that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of {death}, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt? death And {death} shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places whither I have driven them, saith the LORD of hosts. death For {death} is come up into our windows, [and] is entered into our palaces, to cut off the children from without, [and] the young men from the streets. death Give glory to the LORD your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of {death}, [and] make [it] gross darkness. death And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such as [are] for {death}, to death; and such as [are] for the sword, to the sword; and such as [are] for the fam ine, to the famine; and such as [are] for the captivity, to the captivity. death And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such as [are] for death, to {death}; and such as [are] for the sword, to the sword; and such as [are] for the fam ine, to the famine; and such as [are] for the captivity, to the captivity. death Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and pour out their [blood] by the force of the sword; and let their wives be bereaved of their children, and [be] widows; and let their men be put to {death}; [let] their young men [be] slain by the sword in battle. death And unto this people thou shalt say, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of {death}. death But know ye for certain, that if ye put me to {death}, ye shall surely bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof: for of a truth the LORD hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears. death Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him at all to {death}? did he not fear the LORD, and besought the LORD, and the LORD repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus might we procure great evil against our souls. death And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to {death}: but when Urijah heard it, he was afraid, and fled, and went into Egypt; death Nevertheless the hand of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, that they should not give him into the hand of the people to put him to {death}. death Therefore the princes said unto the king, We beseech thee, let this man be put to {death}: for thus he weakeneth the hands of the men of war that remain in this city, and the hands of all the people, in speaking such words unto them: for this man seeketh not the welfare of this people, but the hurt. death Then Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If I declare [it] unto thee, wilt thou not surely put me to {death}? and if I give thee counsel, wilt thou not hearken unto me? death So Zedekiah the king sware secretly unto Jeremiah, saying, [As] the LORD liveth, that made us this soul, I will not put thee to {death}, neither will I give thee into the hand of these men that seek thy life. death But if the princes hear that I have talked with thee, and they come unto thee, and say unto thee, Declare unto us now what thou hast said unto the king, hide it not from us, and we will not put thee to {death}; also what the king said un to thee: death But Baruch the son of Neriah setteth thee on against us, for to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they might put us to {death}, and carry us away captives into Babylon. death And when he cometh, he shall smite the land of Egypt, [and deliver] such [as are] for {death} to death; and such [as are] for captivity to captivity; and such [as are] for the sword to the sword. death And when he cometh, he shall smite the land of Egypt, [and deliver] such [as are] for death to {death}; and such [as are] for captivity to captivity; and such [as are] for the sword to the sword. death Then he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his {death}. death And the king of Babylon smote them, and put them to {death} in Riblah in the land of Hamath. Thus Judah was carried away captive out of his own land. death And [for] his diet, there was a continual diet given him of the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his {death}, all the days of his life. death Behold, O LORD; for I [am] in distress: my bowels are troubled; mine heart is turned within me; for I have grievously rebelled: abroad the sword bereaveth, at home [there is] as {death}. death For I have no pleasure in the {death} of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn [yourselves], and live ye. death To the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves for their height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees stand up in their height, all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto {death}, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit. death Say unto them, [As] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the {death} of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? death I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from {death}: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes. death I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O {death}, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes. death Seek him] that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of {death} into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD [is] his name: death And God said to Jonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, [even] unto {death}. death Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, [he is] a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and [is] as {death}, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people: death And was there until the {death} of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son. death The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of {death} light is sprung up. death And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against [their] parents, and cause them to be put to {death}. death And the brother shall deliver up the brother to {death}, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against [their] parents, and cause them to be put to death. death And when he would have put him to {death}, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet. death For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the {death}. death Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of {death}, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. death Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to {death}, death Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto {death}: tarry ye here, and watch with me. death Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to {death}; death What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of {death}. death When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to {death}: death And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of {death}: I pray thee], come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live. death For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the {death}: death And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of {death}, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power. death Saying], Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn him to {death}, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles: death Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their] parents, and shall cause them to be put to {death}. death Now the brother shall betray the brother to {death}, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their] parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. death After two days was the feast of] the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him] to {death}. death And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto {death}: tarry ye here, and watch. death And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus to put him to {death}; and found none. death Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of {death}. death To give light to them that sit in darkness and in] the shadow of {death}, to guide our feet into the way of peace. death And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see {death}, before he had seen the Lord's Christ. death But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of {death}, till they see the kingdom of God. death And they shall scourge him], and put him to {death}: and the third day he shall rise again. death And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some] of you shall they cause to be put to {death}. death And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to {death}. death No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of {death} is done unto him. death And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of {death} in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him] go. death And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to {death}. death And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to {death}, and have crucified him. death When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of {death}. death Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from {death} unto life. death Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see {death}. death Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of {death}. death When Jesus heard that], he said, This sickness is not unto {death}, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. death Howbeit Jesus spake of his {death}: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. death Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to {death}. death But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to {death}; death This he said, signifying what {death} he should die. death Then said Pilate unto them, Take ye him, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to {death}: death That the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what {death} he should die. death This spake he, signifying by what {death} he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me. death Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of {death}: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. death And Saul was consenting unto his {death}. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles. death And when Herod had sought for him, and found him not, he examined the keepers, and commanded that they] should be put to {death}. And he went down from Judaea to Caesarea, and there] abode. death And though they found no cause of {death} in him], yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain. death And I persecuted this way unto the {death}, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women. death And when the blood of thy martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by, and consenting unto his {death}, and kept the raiment of them that slew him. death Whom I perceived to be accused of questions of their law, but to have nothing laid to his charge worthy of {death} or of bonds. death For if I be an offender, or have committed any thing worthy of {death}, I refuse not to die: but if there be none of these things whereof these accuse me, no man may deliver me unto them. I appeal unto Caesar. death But when I found that he had committed nothing worthy of {death}, and that he himself hath appealed to Augustus, I have determined to send him. death Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to {death}, I gave my voice against them]. death And when they were gone aside, they talked between themselves, saying, This man doeth nothing worthy of {death} or of bonds. death Who, when they had examined me, would have let me] go, because there was no cause of {death} in me. death Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of {death}, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. death For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the {death} of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. death Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and {death} by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: death Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so {death} passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: death Nevertheless {death} reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. death For if by one man's offence {death} reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) death That as sin hath reigned unto {death}, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. death Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his {death}? death Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into {death}: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. death For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his {death}, we shall be also in the likeness] of his] resurrection: death Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; {death} hath no more dominion over him. death Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto {death}, or of obedience unto righteousness? death What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is] {death}. death For the wages of sin is] {death}; but the gift of God is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. death For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto {death}. death And the commandment, which was ordained] to life, I found to be] unto {death}. death Was then that which is good made {death} unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. death Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working {death} in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. death O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this {death}? death For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and {death}. death For to be carnally minded is] {death}; but to be spiritually minded is] life and peace. death For I am persuaded, that neither {death}, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, death <1CO3 -22> Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or {death}, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; death <1CO4 -9> For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to {death}: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men. death <1CO11 -26> For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord's {death} till he come. death <1CO15 -21> For since by man came] {death}, by man came] also the resurrection of the dead. death <1CO15 -26> The last enemy that] shall be destroyed is] {death}. death <1CO15 -54> So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, {Death} is swallowed up in victory. death <1CO15 -55> O {death}, where is] thy sting? O grave, where is] thy victory? death <1CO15 -56> The sting of {death} is] sin; and the strength of sin is] the law. death <2CO1 -9> But we had the sentence of {death} in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead: death <2CO1 -10> Who delivered us from so great a {death}, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us]; death <2CO2 -16> To the one we are] the savour of {death} unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is] sufficient for these things? death <2CO2 -16> To the one we are] the savour of death unto {death}; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is] sufficient for these things? death <2CO3 -7> But if the ministration of {death}, written and] engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory] was to be done away: death <2CO4 -11> For we which live are alway delivered unto {death} for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. death <2CO4 -12> So then {death} worketh in us, but life in you. death <2CO7 -10> For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh {death}. death According to my earnest expectation and my] hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that] with all boldness, as always, so] now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be] by life, or by {death}. death And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the {death} of the cross. death And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto {death}, even the death of the cross. death For indeed he was sick nigh unto {death}: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow. death Because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto {death}, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me. death That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his {death}; death In the body of his flesh through {death}, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: death <2TI1 -10> But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished {death}, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: death But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste {death} for every man. death But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of {death}, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. death Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through {death} he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; death Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of {death}, that is, the devil; death And deliver them who through fear of {death} were all their lifetime subject to bondage. death Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from {death}, and was heard in that he feared; death And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of {death}: death And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of {death}, for the redemption of the transgressions that were] under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. death For where a testament is], there must also of necessity be the {death} of the testator. death By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see {death}; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. death Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth {death}. death Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from {death}, and shall hide a multitude of sins. death <1PE3 -18> For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to {death} in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: death <1JO3 -14> We know that we have passed from {death} unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his] brother abideth in death. death <1JO3 -14> We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his] brother abideth in {death}. death <1JO5 -16> If any man see his brother sin a sin which is] not unto {death}, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death.
